コロナ禍による保護ペットの受難についての特集の中で、弊社が行っているボランティアを紹介していただきました。

一般社団法人ラブドネイションさんではこの里親募集動画で、ほどんどの保護犬や保護猫たちの新しいおうちが決まったそうです♪
嬉しいご報告を聞いて、この活動にすごくやりがいを感じました。

さて、特集の中でお話されている内容ですがコロナ禍によるペットブームが今起きつつある中、
飼育放棄や行き場を失うペットたちが増えるのではないかと不安視されています。
実際テレビに映っている可愛いペットたちに影響されて飼ったものの、お世話が大変、
想像より大きく成長してしまったなどと自分勝手な理由でペットを手放す人が多いようです。
自分たちの都合でペットたちを不幸にさせることはいけないと思います。
これからペットを飼おうとしている方は最期まで責任をもって育てられるか一度、よく考えてみてほしいです。
またコロナの影響で譲渡会が開けなくなってしまい、保護ペットたちの新しいおうちが見つけられないという問題も起きています。
早くコロナが終息して、譲渡会もたくさん開かれるようになってほしいですね。
